Background and Education

I was born in St. Petersburg, Russia into a musical family. I am a third generation pianist.
My family moved to Canada where I grew up and continued my music education.
Since 1999, I have been fortunate to live in Palm Springs, Portland (Oregon), and beautiful Colorado.

I have two music degrees in Piano Performance.
I hold the A.R.C.T. Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music.
I also obtained my Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Calgary.

I am a member of the Boulder Area Music Teachers Association (BAMTA), Colorado State Music Teachers Association (CSMTA), and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).

Lessons and Teaching Style

I teach in my home studio located in South Rock Creek, Superior, Colorado.
I offer weekly piano lessons in 30 minute, 45 minute, and 60 minute increments.

Teaching private one on one lessons allows me to adapt my teaching style to the student's needs and abilities. I teach young and old, beginners to advanced, and incorporate classical music, popular selections, duet playing, technique, and theory into weekly lessons.

Twice a year my students have the opportunity to perform in our student piano recitals, as well as participate in the Multiple Piano Festival, a fun and unique multi piano concert.

With over 30 years of experience, I aim to make piano playing enjoyable for everyone.
